Norway has the highest concentration of fjords in the world. More than 1,000 of these sheer rocky passageways narrowly give way to glistening arms of the Atlantic in dramatic fashion.
If you’ve never sailed the sea between two mountain walls draping you on either side you’re missing one of the most stunning landscapes on earth.
Our Norwegian adventure began in Bergen – a beautiful city on Norway’s west coast – and ended in the capital city of Oslo. We traveled the Norway in a Nutshell tour (which isn’t really a tour at all, but the name for a picturesque itinerary taking you between the two cities.)
The middle of the journey features Norway’s fjord region – the essence of the entire route.
We compiled a short video depicting the dramatic scenery unfolding before us as we voyaged through the fjords.
